|The 2002 Honda VFR800 is a special bike to say the least. Anyone, from beginner to expert, from city rider to road tripper, you could hop on this bike and have a fun time. This VFR gets around 36mpg, is fuel injected, has a V4 VTEC engine, has 107bhp with 21,538 miles. The VFR is a 6 speed manual transmission that has a good acceleration, at 7000 rpms the engine comes alive and opens up the powerband, which has no harsh feel to it when the VTEC engages. The VFR has a fast top speed of 180mph, and performs extremely well in curves and corners. A wide handle bar setup, along with a very comfortable riding situation, grippy tires, and tight suspension makes for this bike to handle at a very high level. You can ride the Honda VFR800 Interceptor all day without getting fatigued, which is more than you can say about most bikes. The combined braking system contains 3 calipers that all have 3 pistons each. You will see a dual caliper and rotor set up, up front, and 1 in the rear. The braking on this motorcycle is good it has to be experienced to be believed. Due to its great handling, braking, the torque rich powerband, smooth clutch, and light and precise gearbox, the interceptor is as nice in city traffic as it is riding on an open freeway. The VFR will perform highly on all levels. Our VFR that is for sale is in great running condition. Recently it had a complete bike service done, receiving new fluids and filter, adjustments to the lever and chain, etc. The front forks were rebuilt with new seals and oil. The VFR received a new battery, brake pads, and a lot of new cosmetics like grips, bar ends, and a brand new seat cover. This bike is in great running condition and ready to leave today! |
